The global theme of the EP is just about 'change' and 'rebirth', changing of the seasons,
as an artist you need to shake things up from time to time and reinvent yourself,
fall in love with life again, fall in love with the world around you,
fall in love with a different parts of yourself....
I wrote about that and the associated 'confusion' in the mind (tiny tornado/rainbow)
But very abstractly, mellow and vaguely.
No heavy-therapeutic stuff, more like in a pothead-philosophy kind of way :p
And the last song 'Head over Heels' deals with a frustrating relationship in which there's love but also tension and games.
Sonically, i incorporated (subtly) some surf guitar influences.
i hope it makes a good EP to listen to at the beach or whatever you do during spring ;p
it has the same twangy, reverb-guitar, in the style of the title track 'A Bright Young Thing'.
