Tear Stripes:
I wrote this one somewhere around 2019-2021 (??)
anyway,
Think an upbeat reggae-funk meets a dark, psychedelic fever dream.
It explores the juxtaposition of human technology and the 'natural' world.
the 'real' world, we often forget we’re part of.
Basically, it's a "hippie-ish" anthem for a fast-paced era,
tackling climate change and human connection without the lecture.
“It’s a fast, fast world, and with pride we’re wearing our tear stripes.
It’s a call for unity ("We all bleed red") and a reminder that we have to take care of our planet.
it’s a track of two halves: it kicks off with a sun-drenched, "bright" energy before plunging into a dark, heavy bridge. The 'dream' vs 'reality'. (see lyrics on spotify)
the cover art is a glitchy collage; a cheetah’s tear stripes meeting the digital blur of the modern world
